Wild Irish, Book Five

Friday’s child is loving and giving…

Ewan Collins has had the hots for Natalie for years but she continually rebuffs him, supposedly because of their age difference. When Natalie comes to stay with the Collins family for a week, Ewan decides it’s time to make his move in a serious way.

Natalie’s been in a funk since celebrating another birthday alone. When Ewan proposes to help her “get a life”—seven lessons in seven days—she figures, what the hell does she have to lose? Ewan’s plans include tequila shots, fishing, karaoke…and other, more erotic hands-on demonstrations.

But Nat’s loneliness isn’t Ewan’s only obstacle. Tragedy in her past continually takes Natalie to a dark place her mind can’t easily overcome. With support, tenderness and love, Ewan plans to win over Natalie one lesson at a time.

Starting with lessons of the heart.

I hesitated to buy this one after "Sweet Thursday" and based on the lack of reviews I believe others may have as well. However, I enjoyed Natalie and Ewan's story very much. I'm not a fan (at all) of the cougar genre, which was another reason for my hesitation, but while this story featured characters with some age difference - she's 8 years older - that was not a significant part of the plot. The synopsis really doesn't do this story justice. A good read, worth the buy, and more on track with the series than its predecessor. Natalie and Ewan are both likable, and while steamy, the sex does not overshadow the story line.

One of my favorites in the series. Can't wait for the final 2.

Wow! A bit softer than the others but very good and did I say HOT? Yeah, it's very steamy...It was great how the author dealt with depression issue...Very real, very isolating...I'm glad the hero admitted he didn't have a clue how to reach his love's heart, but reached out for help...To me that takes more courage and strength, than just faking your way through a problem, possibly wrecking everyone life, including your own...The emotions came across strongly and I needed the tissue box...Warning ladies...Agree with Melissa, can't wait for the last two books!!!
