Book 3 in the Miami Scorcher series.

Paz has a big secret that could harm her new pack and give The Council ammunition to kill her. When The Council sends their legendary enforcer to hunt a rogue werewolf, Paz makes a shocking discovery about the one man she’s supposed to be avoiding. He’s her mate and she’s terrified he’ll uncover her secret.

As enforcer and one of the oldest living werewolves on the planet, Adam never expected to meet his mate while on the job, but now that he’s found her, he won’t let her go. Paz denies their connection but can’t escape the sizzling heat between them. No matter what it takes, Adam plans to uncover the truth and bond her to him forever.

This was a great addition to the Miami Scorcher series - it was great to finally see what happens to Paz and meet Adam the great enforcer! However I felt that some of the plot that carried over from the second book - Worth the Risk - was forgotten along the way. I am aware that the plot line from the second book was more about Paz's sister Marisol but you can't end a book with a cliff hanger and then barely address it in the next book. I realize that most of Adam's main agenda was to find out about Paz - as his mate and survivor but it still left me hanging - added to the fact that the end wrapped up very quickly as well let me down a bit but I'm still willing to buy the next book in the series if there is one... I'm hoping for Thomas's story next.
