The men approached her carefully, but a body can only be denied for so long. Tira’s struggle with her gift, and her fear of it, disabled her. When she finally accepted what she is and what she is meant to do, she’s able to banish her fear and live. The same goes for Nic and on a lesser scale Duke. There was a lot of emotional soul searching and the love between the three was tangible.
