Sold into a life of prostitution by her greedy uncle, innocent Gisella Trelain finds herself a prisoner in a dark and ominous dungeon. Chained to the wall is a muscular, naked man named Tristan who tells her he is under a curse. Every month he is doomed to lose his humanity and take on the characteristics of a ravening beast—a beast with needs too savage to be satisfied by any ordinary woman. In order to break the curse, Gisella must submit completely to the beast and offer herself freely to slake his fierce sexual desires. But the stakes are high in this fairytale come true and if Gisella isn’t able to open herself completely to Tristan’s lusts, she may lose her life as she attempts to tame the beast.

For the most part, I enjoyed the story. I liked Gisella and really felt for her situation. It seemed liked the story was rushed from the moment she was with Tristan, though. This can be a problem with shorter books, but I wish there had been more character development of Tristan and description of his world. Still, it was a good short read and I would probably buy another one of her books that caught my eye.

Great original storyline. The sex was mild but the book is short, only 60 pages I believe but well done.

VERY nice marriage of paranormal/Futuristic/Fairy Tale! Gisella's unwordliness was a bit overdone in the beginning, but she's a likeable character and most of the naivete came off as amusing instead of absurd. I think Tristan could have used a bit more characterisation; he came off as generic. The "beast" erotica conveyed taste and good sense. A light, frothy, quick "bedtime story" for grownups. To E.A. -- hold on your manuscripts an extra few weeks and re-edit. Your storytelling's so good, but your writing itself could use some "tightening up" to create even greater stories. Learn to combine be verbs + --ing actions. (ie, "He was thinking" = "He thought"; "what he was talking about" = "what he meant") Make your word count really count.
