Second in the Lavender Lace series.

A shopping spree at Lavender Lace, a lingerie store owned by Celtic goddess Ashlyn, thrills Twyla Gardiner, who has trouble finding sexy lingerie to fit her tall, voluptuous body. But who will get to appreciate that lacy red bra and risqué thong?

Twyla’s friends seem determined to set her up with new men every week. When her best friend arranges yet another blind date with a man she swears is Mr. Wonderful, Twyla decides she can’t go through another disappointment. She escapes to a favorite hideaway spa.

Daniel LaFevers is new in the Seattle area and hasn’t had the chance to meet many women. One look at the voluptuous raven-haired beauty sitting in the bar of the locals’ favorite hideaway and Daniel knows he has to get to know her better.

When Twyla invites Daniel to her room for an evening of unforgettable passion, will this be another in a long line of disappointments, or a date with Mr. Wonderful?

By Melinda - Twyla Gardiner is tired of men looking at her boobs. She wants a man who will look at the Twyla inside and not always the outside. All the men since her divorce have never seen the real her. She knows her man is out there somewhere but lately her whole life has been centered on work and nothing else. Twyla is a beautiful full figured woman and for once wants someone to actually love her. She is tired of friends setting her up with lame brained guys but know they are being thoughtful. Another blind date is not what she needs on her birthday and decides to take matters into her own hands and live for the night. Meeting Daniel now is one risk she likes. Can she have a fling without her heart getting in the way? Daniel LaFever is a bachelor who is trying to make friends not find a woman so soon after his divorce. Moving to Seattle was supposed to be a new beginning for him not to meet another woman. Yet his friend is constantly setting him up with women. He knows he means well but he just wants to be alone. He has been known as being careful and responsible so it comes as a surprise when he meets Twyla that he wants to be dangerous. Something about Twyla makes him want to risk it all and have not just a fling but maybe something else. The passion between them is hot and sizzling making him wonder if maybe she is real. Can he continue on a fling with her when he knows she is someone special? Twyla is definitely a woman who is afraid to love again. I loved that here is a woman that is not your usual thin blonde blue-eyed woman in distress but a beautiful full figured woman who wants a real love not just based on superficial things about her. Daniel is a man that is so right for her for they share the same things and a love not usually found. The passion between them is reckless, passionate and perfect for one another you can tell right away. I loved that Lynn created this magic around them and stuck through it till the end, making these characters memorable. Great job.

I thought this was pretty good! The first one in series, Business and Pleasure, was better and more detailed.
