Sheriff Ryder Jackson has spent the last ten years of his life missing his sister Sandra and hating the woman he believes killed her.

Kelly Montgomery returns to her hometown to care for her fiercely independent cowboy brother Kyle. While Kelly is forced to deal with someone attempting to terrorize her, she is also watching the developing romance between her stubborn brother and her childhood friend Sally, reminding her of her own strong feelings for the man who as a teenager she had fallen in love with. The same man who wrongly holds her responsible for the death of his sister, her best friend.

As Ryder and Kelly confront the explosive physical reaction they can't contain, they must also accept and work through their emotional past while dealing with a stalker out for vengeance.
