The relationship between the characters was the main focus of this book and Anderson did an amazing job showing how right these two were together. Probably the best character development I've read in a novel from Ellora's Cave. The BDSM elements were fairly light (nothing extreme or too painful) and I liked that he wasn't a full-time Dom. The sex seemed to me more sweet than red hot but was still plenty steamy.

I LOVED almost everything about this story. Excellent characterizations, pacing, and the erotica and the storyline did not compete for the reader's attention but were an excellent complement to each other. This story packs a lot of punch for its size (novella) and the holiday elements are subtle so it's enjoyable reading at anytime. The subplot dealing with Jillian's "cleaning up behind" Sabrina is amusing and takes a fun stab at sibling issues. Kyle and Jillian are very real and loveable and have "it" (the chemistry that makes readers root for them to be together). The "We Kidnap U" concept had me laughing for days whenever I thought about it. Anderson's imagery is wonderful in this story. You smell, taste, and feel thing because of it. This is my favorite of her stories so far.

Now she has decided that she has the perfect Christmas gift to give herself, a personalized kidnapping. As in you order it, sign a release form and tell them what you want done to you while they have you kidnapping. Jillian is her older and wiser sister, and does not think that this is a good idea. But then nothing Sabrina usually does is a good idea. Adam is the Dom that owns the Tampa branch of “We Kidnap U”. Since he is a franchise owner there is a mandatory convention that he must go to. Kyle is his older brother, and while he is also a Dom, he can not believe that his younger brother is getting paid to kidnap people and do kinky things to them. To make matters worse, since Adam has to go to this convention, he now needs Kyle to fill in for him and do this next ‘nap for him. When Sabrina calls Jillian in the middle of the night to let her know she is going out of town for a few days and would she kindly look after mom’s cat while she is away, Jillian is not too pleased, this is just another of the many times she has had to bail her sister out of trouble. Sabrina is suppose to cancel the kidnapping, but it seems that she did not do it in time. How exactly will Jillian take to having her wildest fantasies played out while she is helpless to put an end to them? Kidnapped for Christmas is an amazing story about BDSM and what can happen when you are willing to see just how far you can go in submitting to another. It is wonderfully written and Evangeline Anderson gives the reader a fascinating look into what it can be like between a Dom and sub when they are the right people together.
