This book packed a lot of action and humor in it and was an easy read from beginning to end getting you interested in the friendships and the storyline from the first page to the last. I laughed so hard, I cried and it wasn’t in just one part of the story but many. Throw in a big lovable dog and what’s not to like. The characters were unbelievable in their antics and there was laughter, romance, a mystery to solve and I had a smile on my face throughout. Lily and Nate had chemistry from the minute they met and it just kept getting better. There was a happily ever after that didn’t look like it was going to happen but I was happy it did. The only downside was that the story was too short and left me wanting more. At least a few more chapters were warranted since when I turned the last page I was still looking for more – I hadn’t realized I was at the end. I have not previously read books by this author but if this is her caliber of writing I will definitely be reading other books she’s penned. The characters were interesting and fully developed and their chemistry lept off the pages! The humorous dialog sprinkled throughtout the book just made it that much more enjoyable.
