Christmas is coming. Give your lover the gift of pleasure…

Gaby Montgomery works for Fancy Free as a condom designer. Recently she’s been designing sex toys and testing her inventions with fellow designer Marc, but they’ve parted ways. The timing couldn’t be worse because she’s stuck without a willing test subject for her sexy products.

Gaby’s roommates Liam Richardson and Fletch Darcy both want a serious relationship with her, and now that she’s free, it’s time to make a move. But how do they decide which one will date her? Fletch finally suggests they share. Liam is skeptical but agrees the scheme might work, which allows Fletch to move on to step two of his romance plan. Fletch doesn’t just want Gaby, he wants Liam as well.

The loving is hot, their days full of fun product testing, exquisite pleasure and laughter. Everything is perfect until the outside world intrudes, putting their budding relationship under stress. This time their love and friendship might not stand the pressure.

Reviewed by Marissa at Romancing the Book -- Condom designer? I never really thought of that as a job. Can you imagine putting that on a business card? Or a résumé? And what a pick-up line at a party! “And what is it you do?” “Oh, I design and test condoms.” Now, you just know that person gets a lot of dates. This was kind of a different erotic story. As the designer and tester of sex toys, Gaby stops in the middle of everything to ask questions: How does the lube taste? Can you feel through the condom? Is it too intense? It sort of stops the sexual action right in the middle (sort of like thinking of baseball or your Great Uncle Ralph naked). So just as you’re starting to get into the sex, it sort of stops for a paragraph or a page. This isn’t exactly a bad thing (kind of amusing, actually), it’s just different. Now one thing I particularly liked was a scene in which the man ended up naked before the woman. Somehow, in all these novels we read, the woman always ends up naked before the man has even doffed his shirt. In real life, I like to see my men naked and I’m sure these fictional women are no different than the rest of us. So the fact that the man is naked and then undresses the woman is almost a novel idea. The characters were real enough with real jobs (I guess someone has to design those condoms!), with family issues, dealing with closed-minded people, and just trying to get through their days to get home and have great sex. (Isn’t that what we all want?) And the sex got me wet. While it didn’t seem as hot as some scenes I’ve read, it was fun and there was a lot of it. There were only two problems I had with this story. One was the use of “prevarication” instead of “procrastination”. I couldn’t tell if this was a typographical error on the part of the printer or a misuse of the word by the author, but the words have completely different meanings and are not interchangeable. If it were in only one place I could find it forgivable but it was misused in two or three places. The second was that the two men were constantly asking Gaby for permission to touch her, lick her, etc. during sex. Okay, now, I’ve been around the block a couple of times (and I won’t admit to any more than that!) and I have never, ever had a man ask if he could kiss me or touch me while we were having sex. I think it’s pretty much implied that if you are willingly having sex with someone that the rest follows naturally. On a more whimsical note, I loved the butt-plug that played Christmas music and the one that lit up like a candy cane. (Do they really make these? I’m going shopping now...)
