Cord had waited a damn long time for the end of the world. He’d starved for most of those eons and was frankly pissed it had taken so long to get here. Relief at last, time to go kill. An animal designed to destroy, Cord wasn’t prepared for the astonishing instincts that overpowered everything he had thought he was. What he wanted more than life, more than the freedom of death was something he couldn’t gather, command or capture—Kelly.

There wasn’t anything Kelly wouldn’t do to protect her precious, gifted daughter. No act too humiliating, no job too difficult. Being the one thing the air dragon could not live without wasn’t exactly hard labor, and the humiliation part so shockingly sensual it changed who she was. The problem she was having were the new items on her “to do” list—

Dispense evil wizards

Dispose of vicious dragon army

Save world

Right.

A Romantica® erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW 3.25 - Reviewed by: Susan Wicked Beast is a romance story filled with steamy love scenes and an intriguing plot. I loved the premise but found the story to be a bit rushed with low emotional connection to the main characters. Cord and Kelly find themselves thrown into an unexpected relationship that burns hot between them as events surrounding them are keeping the action ongoing. The erotic bond between the characters touches on the naughtier side with D/s entwined into their growing relationship. Overall, Wicked Beast is an interesting read with a lot of sizzle and burn. Gail Faulkner is an author that I have had the pleasure of reading before and I always look forward to seeing where her next story will take me.

I was very upset when I thought I would never get to read anything from this author again. This book is a wonderful surprise. It's funny and sweet and hot, which is really a trick sometimes. I really can't wait to see more from the other characters. I look forward to it. Thanks Gail. Keep them coming!

A great book, and a thoroughly enjoyable read. The editing needs a little work, but that was a minor irritant compared to finally having another story to read from one of my favorite authors! Gail did such a good job portraying how adorable Minuet is and the dragons are wonderful. I can hardly wait for the next book in what promises to be another wonderful series. Thanks, Gail.

I LOVE Gail Faulkner. I have been waiting a long time for her to start writing again. This book is 159 pages and $6.99, it felt rushed and not up to her past standards. It should have been longer for that price. I felt it was a let down and nothing like her other books, Into his Keeping one of the best, Romeo, Jamie's Cherub, Slip Knot etc.. Her last two books have been nothing like her past works.

Holy Cow!! I love dragon stories and this one was awesome!! Minuet was the cutest thing - I could hear my daughter when she was three and knew all the rules and made sure everyone else knew them - in Faulkner's writing of the little girl - only in this case Minuet had the power to back up the rules **Spoiler - the use of the Barbie Dream House as a dragon jail was probably the funniest thing I've EVER read in any book!! Absolutely brilliant! Kelly was a quieter character, (still strong) but not because she was badly written but because her daughter was such a force... and Cord - oh man did I love him!! I was hurting for him so badly - imagine being convinced you are an abomination and that the only reason you live is to use the one who loves you - Cord really struggled to understand that he was around for a reason - wanted and loved for himself. I cannot wait until the rest of the series!! Please give it to us soon!! I'm already stressing out over the L. Dohner books - I don't need to wait forever for this as well!! Please don't forget about Molly and Legion - I'm thinking that'll be a spicy book with Root Rot and the Mouth going head to head!! Not to mention Harrison's book - LOL - Harrison the Lock Ness Monster?! I'm actually hoping that there is a fourth book telling us what Minuet finally becomes! Finally a note on the author - yes there were minor mistakes in spelling and grammar - I would imagine that given Ms. Faulkner's past that her editor didn't want to totally frustrate the author pointing out faults... but in my opinion EVERY word, EVERY line and EVERY chapter is a celebration of bravery - that despite the fact that Gail was missing a significant portion of her education..... she has stated in her bio that she didn't learn how to spell and has problem with grammar etc - that Gail was able to triumph over all that - it takes immense bravery to put anything in front of the general public for ridicule, even more so when you lack some of the basic skills to do what you are submitting to the public - in this case write. Keep them coming Gail, I love them - and that is NOT a lie! If you like Dragon books this is a must! >^..^<

I'm a huge fan of this author, but this book was disappointing. it's hard to believe that the same person wrote Jamie's Cherub, one of my faves - definitely needed a round of editing, as there were glaring errors throughout.
