Megan on 4/26/2012, said: This is a re-do of my previous review because I just tried to read this book again and I realized how irritated I am with this book. I love Krell and Cyan. I loved the beginning of the book, I can't read it without kleenex in hand. Then we get to the middle and it's over. There is no character relationship-development, there's not even any physical relationship to rave about. I was so looking forward to Krell's story and I feel cheated. Gees..the book is barely 80 pages. I'm giving it "could be better" because it could have been a LOT better if not done in such a rushed manner. I also love that she was responsible for setting the cyborgs free from earth. Krell was her perfect counter, having been savagely beaten by humans, he is an outcast, just like her. Great story. There didn't seem quite as much detailed sex in this latest book as there has been in the others, but the story was good enough to hold up with less. Loved it!!!!! My only disapointment is that the sex was in the quickie format. Very little foreplay. I think the storyline was so engrossing it didn't bother me but... just be forewarned there is little detail. But I liked the heroine a lot. Consistently feisty Ms. Dohner was true to form in presenting a woman with brains. My only complaint is something someone else mentioned- the love scenes are quick and these Cyborgs just get down to business so there's little foreplay- but the story was so good I can forgive that. Marie on 10/16/2011, said: The seventh book in this series and it did not disappoint. Laurann Dohner has become one of my must buy authors. This story made me laugh groan and want to butt some heads. The build up of the characters and the emotions portrayed was well done and made this book a very good story. This story gives a detailed explaination into the cyborg history and beginnings.
