I loved the plot taking a committed M/F relationship and adding in a "helper", especially one as yummy as here. I would have loved to get Kiernan's POV but the author did a good job of bringing his character across even without it. Having only Bea's point of view really worked for me because that's how we experience relationships in real life. It's more suspenseful that way, and the tension in the story remained high right to the very end. The whole things was very well written. I'm going to have to look up the author's other books now. Subtleties do not transfer well to the written word and this book is full of them. I really wish the author had offered multiple character viewpoints. It was often frustrating to read everything from the female perspective without knowing the thoughts and motivations of the two male characters. As a reader, I just needed more.
