This has to be the top for me in the series so far, but I love them all. After reading him in Slade, I knew that he was eating his words when it comes to human females. His possessiveness was so damn cute to me. He's pure alpha and that's my taste. Now, I have to wait for the next installment. I read them all too fast. Good book. There were some loose ends that were completed but not explained. The story didn't hold me as the others and I noticed some plot and time discrepancies. It was a good book but not a Fury or Slade. There is the truly alpha, domineering stuff and then the sensitive side where his characters feelings are written out in a rather thoughtful manner. I was hooked by the very first pages. Quite enjoyable. I do have to point something out which was hard for me to overlook. Tammy was kidnapped and tortured but still manages to have very physical smoking hot sex as soon as she is rescued. C'mon now. I had a hard time with things like that hence the 4 stars.
