Ella is funny and strong willed but jumped the gun too quickly and didn’t give Crosby a chance to tell his side of the situation. Crosby is definitely someone I’d want to get to know better. He’s sexy, kind hearted and loyal to the bone. The chemistry between Ella and Crosby is hella hot and not corny at all. I like the idea of @Hairofthedog as well – she really had no clue. The mystery/action element to the story is written well also. I like Cassidy’s snarky attitude when writing female protagonists. I also think she has a awesomely wicked sense of humor in her stories. Aarann on 8/25/2011, said: I really, REALLY loved this story. Ella was a lot of fun and Crosby was hellaciously yummy. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a full 5 stars are that it felt like it should have been a bit longer. Not a LOT longer, just maybe about 20-30 pages or so to get things better fleshed out. The ending definitely seemed rushed, as though the author hadn't quite figured out exactly what was going on, and had to put it all together quickly. Also, as cute as a lot of the jokes were, some of them felt a bit forced. However, don't let that stop you from reading this. I do fully recommend it. I greatly enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to forgetting it so that I can re-read it. It was a very fun effort by an author I intend to read again. There was a jump in time was not well defined and threw me off in the story. I had to reread a few times to get back into it. Maybe the author plans to write a story about the loose ends but who knows. I am not mentioned those as to not spoil the tale. I also agree that it left a lot of unanswered questions that should have been dealt with in the book's ending.
