Bianca Bryant is back in Louisiana seeking help to destroy the Beast hunting her, but it’s the last place she wants to be. Immediate attraction bursts into flame the moment she meets gorgeous twin alphas Matt and Max, but discovering they’re her mates is horrifying. Hot sex with them is one thing—a future is another. She’s not sure she can trust men in power, much less the sons of the man who sent her into exile.

Matt and Max Vargus are thrilled to find their mate, but the wariness in her eyes confuses them. Resisting the fierce urge to claim her immediately, they seduce her slowly, showing her that she’s found a home, family and men to stand by her side. But danger still stalks Bianca and they’ll have to fight to protect her.

Reader Advisory: While brothers Max and Matt enjoy watching each other with Bianca, only once do they engage in a red-hot ménage scene.

I dont' know what everyone else is complaining about. I liked the characters and appreciated the fact that Matt & Max gave Bianca a chance to know them before they overwhelmed her. I actually was hoping that this was the beginning of a series with some of the secondary characters getting their own books....

Unfortunately, I didn't notice the comments until after I bought the book. I've never reviewed a book on this site before, but this book is so bad that I felt compelled to give a warning. This book is nothing but dialogue, completely lacking in any real action, and the talk isn't even interesting. This author seriously needs to learn how to have her characters show us who they are instead of having repeated question and answer sessions. Also, I agree that the heroes are not alpha males at all. I'd give this book zero stars if I could, because the pacing is so slow and the characters are so dull.

Unfortunatly, I agree with the others. It was boring, very slow-paced and you didn't really care about the characters. There was some background story about Bianca and even then I couldn't connect with her the whole time. Like Mary Beth said, there is a preference for Matt, you don't see Max so much in the story. Don't waste your time with this one. Easily forgotten after reading.

I never write reviews unless I really like a book or I really, really hate it. This one has to be one of the worst books I've read in recent years. The premise sounded like one I would like, but the female lead was so unlikeable, whiny and just plain annoying that it was hard to drum up any enthusiasm for the menage relationship (why they liked her outside physical chemistry was a complete mystery), the writing was atrocious (very poor grammar and even worse editing), and having the female lead start a conversation or an interlude with Matt and end it with Max (or vice versa) when Max wasn't in the room or scene was just plain sloppy. Also, for all the dialogue about not having jealousy between the brothers, the author clearly had a partiality to Matt over Max which just goes against this sort of book, at least from my persepctive. Still can't believe I read the whole thing (I was ready to give up just before the half-way point but have a hard time dropping a book before I finish it and I kept hoping it might get better). If you like this type of scenario, don't waste your time or money on this book - there are many better ones out there.

If you love alpha males, pick another book. I just kept thinking to myself, "Seriously? These guys are supposed to be alphas?" None of the lead characters have much of a personality and I really don't care what happens to any of them. I'm not even half-way through the book and I don't know if I will bother finishing it.
