T.D. on 5/7/2012, said: Much like previous reviews, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and wished that it had been a bit more detailed on the background information. I agree with another review, where a reader commented that it didn't require much thinking. If the author had built on the background information and also elaborated more on Seenas past than it would have made me more keen to sink my teeth into. But that's not to say that the story was lacking in any way. Definitely an enjoyable read and I wish like most books, that it would continue on. The characters are fleshed out even in the short format of the book. It was steamy and yet had enough story to keep the book going. My complaints are minor - the fighters don't seem train at all, and I hate it when two alien species decide they're going to have kids together. I have found very few Novella's that I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked how the heroine was strong mentally and physically and the hero was very passionate and masculine. Plus the scenes were really HOT! It was a great read and I really liked the characters and the story that Ms. Monsch had to tell but I felt that the book was missing some needed world building and some character background that would have been there if the book was just a little longer. **Spoiler Alert** such as why humans were so rare, who the Tevarians were and why bloodlines and Houses were so important, why Nevan had fangs which was never mentioned.... Things like that - if answered would have really made this book great...
