What's even better is the next book is due out October 14, 2011 and I can't wait!! Laurann sure knows how to keep us all hooked and I am positive that Krell's story will be a good as all the rest. What is spectacular about Laurann's writing is that she doesn't just write a good "hero" book but that she can make us love an anti-hero like Zorus - the chemistry between him and Charlie kept me coming back to read it again and again. Making an anti-hero jerk like Zorus likeable without totally washing out his alpha male characteristics - the things that made him a strong anti-hero in the first place is a very difficult thing to do for most writers - yet Laurann has managed to do it twice in this series.... my hat again is off to you Ms. Dohner - Well done! Emma on 6/30/2011, said: I absolutely love the Cyborg Seduction series! The cyborgs are very alpha male and sexy. They may come off as mechanical and unfeeling, living true to type (the whole cyborg aspect of their species), but with each individual story, we get to see their hearts and souls, their very human elements that separate them from being actual machines as they learn to love, trust, and compromise. Ms Dohner creates such hot scenes that spark with lots of passion, I can't ever put the book down. When I start one, I definitely have to make sure I have time to finish it in one sitting. Now, with Zorus' story... I have to admit, I completely HATED him from his brief cameos in previous novels. He was such a pompous burro and appeared to have no redeeming qualities, well apart from his sexy looks. However, reading his story, I have to say kudos to Ms Dohner for making me fall in love with him. It's a story of redemption through the power of love and a woman who can be strong enough for the hero without losing all that makes her a woman. I can't wait for more Cyborg loving. I must confess I read this series (in almost) reverse order: Ice first, Zorus second, Coal third. This author's books just keep getting better and better. I can hardly for Ice's story. And, yes, I am still reading this series out of order. Just love them all. Ms. Dohner's Zorn series is pretty awesome too, and I am eagerly awaiting more of the Raine series. I love the humour. in all the cyborg books. and I find that EACH cyborg has a different character and so do the female characters and they are perfect for each other. I think calling Zorus some choice names in the beginning was appropriate for his original character and necessary for his eventual change. well done. I also like the author's RAINE series - hot and awesome. and her Mate Set series. In general what I love about the stories are the author's ability to have the characters resolve problems. instead of keeping feelings and problems inside, they communicate to each other and the willingness to WANT to undesrstand each other, is what makes these stories so great. in the Zorn series my favourite was Ral's story, Berr's the least. I've read each Cyborg story 2 times. I find them that good. I am waiting with abated breath for the next Cyborg, Raine, and Mate set stories. Bring them on! The chemistry is palpable and I couldn't stop reading until the last line. The only negative thing I can say is I wish the writer could come up with heroines who don't swear like truck drivers on every page. One can only read the word "a$$h0l$" so many times before it gets grating. Can't wait for Krell's story!
