A sequel to Shared.

Ten years on I’m still convinced I’m the luckiest woman on earth. Two devastatingly gorgeous husbands committed to my satisfaction—phew!—life doesn’t get much better or much sexier.

But as though the mere concept of a perfect existence was created to be shattered, one day Quinn turned to me and said, “Shared too. I want to be shared too.” Add in the monster that haunted my nightmares and I was struggling to keep a grip on my sanity.

I soon realized the path Quinn wanted us to travel would stretch not only his experience of giving and taking, but also mine and Liam’s. In a whirlwind of desperate emotions, dark desires and erotic fantasy, we were all so distant but also so sublimely close. Sharing had never been as sweet as it was bitter, or as depraved as it was heavenly.

Reader Advisory: Features the sharing of multiple bodies (F/F, M/F/M, F/M/F/M), bondage and other naughty sexual adventures!

I agree with Dreama in that, despite the sharing nature of their relationship, the way that Eve was introduced was rough and out of character for Quinn. The way that he forced Eve into their relationship was insensitive and dramatically changed the way I view him as a character. I was dissapointed in Lily during most of the book - Quinn should have been more tactful and sensitive, not sneaking around and acting the injured party when he didnt get to have two lovers like his wife. When you're in a relationship (any relationship, not just heterosexual monogamous ones) there need to be clear rules, and parties need to stay within those rules, which Quinn did not. His acting like a spoiled child, and Eve doing the same, did not make me more receptive to the idea of adding her to the relationship. I also agree that Liam was the redeeming character for the book. Lily did a great job of redeeming everyone and writing a very hot sex scene for all of them, but the first part of the book definitely ruined it for me.

I have been eagerly devouring all of lily Harlem's works lately. I was surprised and impressed with Shared Too. It contains lots of live, vivid descriptions and enjoyable, vibrant characters that I have come to expect from ms. Harlem's novels. This book, though, stands out to me in that she has taken a delicate, tricky situation and made it work with the lightness and skill that makes ms Harlem's works such keepers to me. Take a deep breath, lock the door and hold on tight - for personally I found this sequel to be a wild, thoroughly enjoyable ride.

I loved Shared and the sequel did not disappoint. I loved spending more time with the characters that I got to know so well in the first book, their emotions were realistic and truly tested as the story twisted and turned. This book has it all; hot sex, good plot and a very satisfying end!

I was very happy to see that there was a sequel to Shared, but there were some problems with the plot that kept me from being able to fully connect to the characters the way I did with the first book. There was a lot more sex than plot - the book seemed to jump from one sex scene to another with a bit of story thrown in between each. It really bothered me that Quinn jumped on the opportunity to be with another female so quickly when he was already in a committed, albeit shared, relationship with two others. Liam is so strong though medically fragile, and he alone redeemed this story. The story crossed several lines that true open or menage relationships shouldn't and though this is fiction those boundaries need to exist. You don't go outside the relationship without not just the consent but also the comfort of the people you are committed to. They didn't arrive at the decision to invite Eve into their lives together and it really bothered me that Quinn was willing to hurt two people that he really loved in order to have sex with her.

Wow! This book is a wonderful sequel to Shared. So well done! I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It is very hot but so full of the characters and their emotions, the reader is right there with them. An amazing story of love and trust. A definite must keep and I will be reading both books again and again!
