Ex-DEA agent Erin Montgomery is reluctantly back on the job, posing as the sex-kitten groupie girlfriend of rock star Sean Ledger. She’ll be joining his band’s tour to try to catch an obsessed, dangerous fan. Tormented by nightmares of her failed last assignment, Erin’s not exactly eager to be drawn back into the fray. But once she meets Sean, all rocker, all man and dripping with raw sex appeal, she knows she’s right where she belongs.

Sean is reluctant to have someone investigating his crew, but when he meets Erin, his objections fly out the window. The beautiful, hard-bitten agent turns him on like no other woman ever has. Sean’s caught glimpses of the fiery passion lurking under Erin’s cool front and he’s determined to break through her hard exterior and make her his.

But Sean’s stalker is still at large and she’s made it clear she’s willing to stop at nothing—even murder—to get him.

I agree that the stalking plot is not the real focus and it's ok. The story is fun and I read it in one blow, I can't put it down. It's enticing and enthralled. The bit issue I have is the sex parts of the story. It's too long, around 8 pages one encounter. Over all a recommended book!

WOW can this woman write!! I almost stopped half way through the novel to rate it then!! Simone writes novels a little darker than the average - the characters are not well adjusted, there is conflict and tragedy in their pasts and usually in the present and you are aching for them to resolve it and have a happy ever after... That's why her books are a great read, you never know if the main characters are going to be able to battle through their pasts to come out all right on the other side and together. As well as the plots are believable and don't suddenly "fix" themselves - the wrap up is believable. The sex is smoking hot, Erin and Sean are lovable characters, yes the stalker is somewhat in the background but going that route may have taken over the story making it not so successful. I love how Erin is both strong and vulnerable - she's believable and Sean - give me one of him please!! Enjoy this book - but don't start it right before bed, you may not get to sleep!! >^..^< PS - for those looking into this story I wanted to point out that the stalker in the story and Erin being DEA has really nothing to do with this story - it is in itself a sub plot not the main plot of the book and that's why it doesn't show up much - this is not about the suspense of who's doing the stalking etc... it's about two people who found each other and heal each other despite what they've been through in their lives.

Reviewed by EmmaRae @ Romancing the Book Well, this one is definitely not for the kiddies. On the other hand, if you're looking for something hot, run down to Ellora's Cave and grab this one. Both characters are impressively fleshed out, and you really get into their psyche and history and what has made the characters who they are in the story. Sean and Erin immediately strike sparks off each other, and don't waste time getting closer. The erotica is gripping and strongly supported by the feelings developing between them. Oh, and did I mention...there's lots of it! There is dominance and bondage, but I wouldn't tag it as BDSM. I guess Sean knocked Erin for a loop, but she didn't behave like a DEA/Security person worried about a threat. Because the characters and the chemistry were so well written, it makes that angle of the story seem weak. The stalker is there, the threat is there, but I wish she had acted like a cop a little more. If you're looking for a good suspense story, I would keep looking. Even with that, though, I strongly recommend this book. I even had more than one favorite quote, but you'll just have to read it yourself. Quote: "I have family I wouldn't trust if God notarized their tongues." Ha!! Definitely going to look for more from this author.

Naima Simone’s book Love and Protect is a hot romance. Erin an ex agent has issues but puts on a strong front. Sean the rock star, has his own share of problems. Together they may seem like an unlikely pair, but as the story is told you can’t help but want them together. Her protector as a child, she is now protecting him. Erin and Sean just seem like they are meant to be, but as you read along you wonder will they stay together in the end, or will their romance end when the assignment does. This book is full hot detailed sex scenes and suspense on many different levels. Ratineg- 5 out of 5 stars Reviewed by Wanda For RWR

I liked this story, but I was a bit confused by the other readers comments. There was not much action in this story. The heroine was supposed to be a strong fighter, but the story revolved around a lot of fears she had. Not that this was bad for the story, but I expected something completely different based on the reviews. About 90% of this story was based on the hero helping the heroine face a lot of fears she had with his stalker kind of a back story. Also, this story was supposed to be about the heroine acting as a bodyguard for the hero, but she really didn't do anything, other than at the end. I would have liked to see more of a plot based on the stalker and less on the issues the heroine had.
