The characters have blazing hot chemistry and I loved their banter throughout. There was an unprotected sex scene but the hero apologized, so it was handled responsibly. Hey, it happens so I thought that was realistic. I'll be looking for more from this author for sure. Note: And YES the characters are interracial. The author doesn't "need" a reason for them to be interracial anymore than she would "need' a reason for them to be white. I love that this story shows some diversity. Frances on 4/6/2011, said: This is a Quickie, so you have to take that into consideration when evaluating storyline depth, etc. I loved the characters! The sex was good. I'm not sure why the author made them interracial; it wasn't germane to the story. Dialogue was sparkling! The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is that it wasn't clear to me if they were establishing a relationship of just having great sex. Also, there's a scene where they have unprotected intercourse and the man pulls out. Pulling out prior to climax doesn't protect against STDs or pregnancy. In this day and age, I thought it was irresponsible to do that as if pulling out made a difference; it doesn't.
