Stephanie on 4/1/2011, said: Breakaway had a strong start but it lost me along the way. I was waiting for Remi to FINALLY stand up to her brother and sister, to no avail. The twist with Jason was different but by then I was beginning to loose interest and it didn't have the impact it should have. Some good parts: Remi and Jason were HOT together and Remi's intereactions with Jason's family were entertaining. Jason has a few brothers so I wouldn't mind a sequel. Remi became a veritable doormat to her brother and sister, which made my blood boil and got in the way of a good story. And interesting twist in the plot kept me going, and I actually wished the author had extended the storyline!
