Even with the titillating sex scenes, this was a fairly sweet and innocent romance between the two main characters. I finished it and actually felt sad! The previous books have dealt with heavier themes, but this book did not seem to have the humour or passion that lightened the others. Also, there was a disproportionately heavy emphasis on introducing Justin-to the point that I lost track of what was happening in this book. I understand that authors want to hook readers into gaining interest in new characters, but I dislike when the "hook" supercedes what's actually happening in the book I'm reading. You get closer to the characters than ever before in this series, and Braden is such a darling, with lots of feelings and thoughts, ... and maybe not quite as tough as he would like, which makes him even more wonderfull. All of the characters are completely memorable and Braden is no exception. Really really looking forward to Justin's story, and hopefully, even his daughter's. This was an excellent follow-up to the rest of the series, fantastic as they are. My only complaint? Too short!
