If you read the 1st book, "Feral Moon", you will have a better understanding of what a shifter, male & female, go through. I don't want to give any spoilers & ruin this story, but if you enjoy reading about shifters, you'll enjoy this one... It built rather fast, thought the scenes were steamy and well written. I would have liked to have seen more of an emotional connection between the h/h in addition to him lusting after her or feeling sorry for her. But definitely worth the read.
