J on 12/24/2011, said: I bought this book because of the synopsis and genuinely liked the idea of friends discovering BDSM and what happens as life goes on. Well it got kind of maudlin. I didn't get it as it kept trying to focus on more than one thing and did none of them well. There is the issue of Sarah quitting college to go home to take care of her brothers and sisters. Kirk, her supposed friend, is so upset with her for daring to do so he doesn't talk to her for over 10 years. For real? Then her lover/submissive who was supposedly so broken up when she took off but he's just fine when she wants back into his life. And long suffering Sarah just wants a baby. Oh give me a break. These guys turned what should of been hot stuff into boring stuff. Yawn and more yawing as they try to deal with Evans issues with his mom's abandonement.
