Sean and Lauren decide to move their relationship further and start dating. Their relationship grows and they fall in love. Chad and Lauren are in graduate school and they plan to open a psychology practice together. Sean decides to buy a house for himself and Lauren and Chad moves in with them. Chad has been secretly in love with Lauren for a long time. Sean has disguised his own intense feelings for Chad. Lauren realizes something is not exactly right between them all but can’t put her finger on the reason why. When a research project comes up, the three characters get a chance to experiment with their fantasies some things come out that maybe shouldn’t. Can they resolve things and go back to the way things were or can they move on? I really enjoyed the emotional conflict clearly expressed between what they feel and think and the closeness they have from a long friendship. Bring in the family quirkiness and the humour. The chemistry between Chad, Sean, and Lauren just sizzles off the pages. This book just captured my attention, I couldn't put down.
