I am glad this story does not dwell on that part of the story but only uses it as a means to how the characters have arrived at their current situation. Avery is a mother that lost her only son and is set on revenge to kill the person responsible for supplying the drugs. Her plan is to marry the twin brother of the drug lord just so she can get close to the other brother to kill him. While in the mist of the ceremony Avery’s ex-husband rides in to the church on a motorcycle and kidnaps Avery before she could say “I do”. Don’t you just wish you could be rescued when you know you’re in the middle of a big mistake? Mason, Avery’s hunky ex-husband takes her to the cabin they honeymooned. Memories and old feelings come alive. The sex is steamy hot. Make-up sex is hot but catching up sex is a lot more of it. But what about justice? Don’t worry, this story has it too. I also like the fact this story also has an Epiloge - It puts a smile on your face.
