Megan runs away from her forced mates with the Warrior Kings because she feels betrayed by them. While she has been gone she has been framed for terrorist attacks against the kingdom. Megan is recaptured and to gain her secrets they torture her. The Warrior Kings, her mates, are tortured as well as Megan when she is being tortured. Their method of torture is pleasure, could you be any crueller? LOL. The emotions show clearly in their actions. Betrayal is abundant but who is at fault? Flash backs are vivid and detailed. I loved the fact that after 40 years they all still love each other but must do what they must. I hope there is more of the Vampira series.
