Three lifelong friends find themselves tangled in a web of love, pain and dangerous secrets in this erotic Garden of Eden tale.

Tall, dark and handsome Danny Carlow has always gotten whatever he wants except for the two he wants more than anything—his best friends, lovers Paul and Eve. Determined, he waits like a snake in the grass, poised for the right moment to offer them a temptation too delicious to resist.

Artist Eve Everton makes the painful decision to leave her true love Paul for the siren call of New York City. Ten years later, with her life in shambles, she returns. When Paul’s waiting arms aren’t available, Eve falls for Danny’s charm and finds herself a willing accomplice in the dangerous games Danny plays.

Former college football star Paul Mattling is now a successful attorney with a bright future ahead of him. But behind those brilliant blue eyes are secret desires for a taste of the forbidden. Will he play it safe or give in to Danny and Eve and bite the apple?

Reader Advisory: Not for the faint of heart, the pain in this story is vivid and real, the emotions even more so. Haunting and poignant, Beyond Eden presents a darker side of BDSM. You might gasp. You might cry. You might find yourself reading it again and again.

An emotion filled read. Almost had me crying in spots yet laughing in others. Loved it.

Amazing story! Dark, sexy and extremely memorable characters. I love that this is now a series and can't wait for more of Danny and Paul!

Please be a responsible reader and read the description before purchasing the book. Also, please do not give the book a poor rating just because the author delivered! Ms. Moon promised a book that contains the darker side of BDSM and even cautioned that it was not for the faint of heart. I am so glad that the second book in the series has come out!

Why someone would buy german chocolate ice cream and then complain because it wasn't "vanilla enough" is beyond me. I must completely disagree with the people who bought this book and then were upset because it is a little dark. I LOVED the fact that unlike so much erotica it was a full blown story with an innocent beginning, a very involved sexual middle and a heart tugging ending. For a first time author I find it was a bit like Eve's paintings, an untapped talent that I am looking forward to reading more of. Yes Danny could be a jerk but nice guys aren't usually a dom and under it all was a man who loved Eve and Paul deeply. For people who want a sweet,"my heart is bursting with passion, but I'm a missionary position only kind of girl" go to walmart and buy a young adult romance novel. If you want something edgy , eye opening though sometimes teetering on the precipice of your comfort zone and full of emotion, BUY THIS BOOK !!

The story wasn't as good as I had hoped. The characters are unfaithful and incredibly selfish. If you enjoy BDSM you will like this. Those parts were enjoyable, but the characters left me shaking my head in disgust.

Infidelity is not my idea of fantasy, or escape. I will not be buying anything else from this author. There are people in real life who have to live with that kind of pain. Why would you glamorize it? I want to invest in the characters, not become irritated with them.

This is an amazing story of love and denial and loss. Three wonderful characters bound to each other by a soul-wrenching love that leaves you laughing, crying ... breathless.

While this book can be a little dark and did at times make me a little uncomfortable, that's the way life is, right? The characters were complicated and complex. The emotion was so real and rich. And the sex/erotica, well…I personally do not know much about the world of BDSM and found this a little dark at times but also intriguing. The love they share is rare and at times painful. If you are not afraid to have a book touch you on many different levels, than this is a must read for you! I thought about these characters long after I finished the book. Can’t wait to read more from Ms. Moon.

Spoiler alert! Started off so good I intended to give it 5 stars, but the further I read, it went downhill so 1 is what it gets. I'll start with the things I liked. I thought the plot was interesting, I loved the whole BDSM and menage, the characters were well-developed and the first love scene was touching and realistic. Now for what I disliked. The characters may have been well-developed, but they were freaking rotten! Danny is funny and devilish on occasion, but he was a controlling a-hole and a lousy friend. Eve was a selfish whore who doesn't seem to give too much of a rip when she finds out it bothers her ex that she is dating his best friend who is also his roommate. Plus she knows he is engaged and fools around with him anyway. Paul was engaged and screwing around with both of the other two. Oh, and Eve is supposed to trust Danny when he was sleeping with Paul behind her back? Also there is a scene where one of the characters is "punished" and the dom doing it is really pissed off at the person he is flogging the crud out of to a bloody pulp. Assertive dom is sexy. Abusive jerk is not. I'm okay with naughty characters, even bad ones, but when everyone dang main character has no concept of true friendship or loyalty, then I can't enjoy the book. It started out really good, but then just left me sickened the further I went.
