A Midwest witch hires a specialist to design a corn maze in her fields for the harvest celebration, as a fundraiser for her niece’s school. She’s tied to the land and he’s just passing through, but long nights working side-by-side in the fields and getting sweaty in the barn have them both wishing they could find their way to a future together. Only time will tell if her harvest bounty might be more than corn this year.

This is a very cute story. It kind of started off a bit slow through the PTA meeting segment in the beginning of the book. I had to re-read a lot of sentences, they just kind of dragged on or punctuation was off, some just didn't make sense on the first read. Once I got past the first chapter I could not put the book down. It got much better and the story line is great! The characters are written with a real feel. The sex scenes were okay but could be written a bit hotter, and the ending seemed to "just end". Although there is an epilogue after the chapters to advise what happened after the story ended. This is a must read, it is a good story line and I enjoyed it. 4 out of 5 stars. First read from this author was disappointing. The storyline had promise until we began to learn Ally was a witch, I have no problem with the paranormal aspect it just seemed out of place in this story. The overall writing was good as was the ending but about halfway through, the story just became unbelievable. Ally and Matt spend two days working together, have sex and all of a sudden he is in love with her and wants to marry her? Matt's anal planning was annoying, he went from wanting to marry one woman to another, it was like he wasn't really in love he just didn't want his plans to get off track.

Very disappointing after reading all of her other work. Not much of anything romantic happened. I have read better Mills and Boon.
