They are not ordinary names like Amanda that could be associated with someone else. No, these characters are unique as their names yet each character is “personable” and “human” and fully enjoyable. The book starts out right in the action and I like that. Not only the start but through-out the entire book. Kept me wanting to read more and more. Usually if your reading in bed and your husband wants to go to sleep you say to him “just let me finish this chapter”, but I couldn’t say that. The ending of one chapter keeps you enthralled that you just have to start the next. The love scenes are very intimate and could melt ice in a second. Like Wow, this needs a warning label. Of course I loved it! The only criticism I have is that it is too short. (That’s a good thing thought too). I want to know more of the Shadow Ryders. Think there will be more books about them? I hope so. Cat on 8/23/2010, said: I was really happy to see the next one of this series... the first two are great. What I liked was that it shows promise in it's future books... there is an enemy that really needs to be fought that shows up in this book - the first two rely on a mob boss type bad guy but in this book the Shadow Ryders are fighting something more like themselves... I don't want to say too much more but I glad to see that these stories will continue.... maybe with the Shadow Lord finding someone??
