Well this book has both, it is steamy as well as emotional. While forceful sex in a relationship has never seemed to be a turn on for this reader and BDSM is okay but not a preference in the stories that I read. This story held me captivated. But I have also been disappointed by this author cause her other books that I have tried just don't measure up to this one. The character she created with Flynn and the dynamics of the relationship in the story just can't be topped. This book is a must read and one that I can assure you I will read again and again. It makes me wish for my own Flynn. But still hoping that Cara and finds a way to create this kind of magic again in another story . . . if not, maybe a sequel. The characters are so real I can actually hear Flynn's Southie accent. The first sex scene feels a little weird but stick with the story. This is one of the books I really must say was a pleasant surprise. After reading the excerpt I was curious & I am glad I took the time to read some reviews. Honestly- Tiffany's review sold me on the purchase. This is a great story. The characters do develop well and the dialogue between all the characters-even if they come and go quickly- is amazing. Not going to lie, at first some of the language used in the sex scenes but as the story moved along & I got to know the characters- I really enjoyed it. I think I'll be looking at more from this author. I do hope there'll be some type of sequel- It would be awesome!
