Shirley on 3/20/2011, said: I don't think there is too much sex, that was quite enjoyable and worth reading this book. I agree with a previous reviewer who stated a lot went into writing this novel. But there really was nothing in the plot (non-sexual) that I haven't seen in a Star Trek or Star Wars type series. And the heroine was just too physically overwhelming "perfect" for me - gag! Everywhere she goes men are drooling, that gets pretty old. She was also one that "doth protest too much", then capitulates or behaves like a spoiled child. Also the HEA was just too simplistic after the premise that it would never be safe for them to be together. I can be very critical, so I'll finish off by stating - it was a good read and well-written with hot sex, plot development, and humorous bits, so I do recommend. Terri on 8/11/2010, said: I read this and rated it higher but went back and re-read it. I do agree that there was too much sex in it but that seems to be the norm for Hunters for Hire. I do like the fact that the male was alpha and the heroine was feisty and the HEA. However, I would have liked to see more action and less sex, especially SS action. I did start to get bored and skipped over some of the sex scenes, as those scenes seemed to take over the plot. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable book. The good news is there is plenty of sex in this. The bad news is there is too much sex. Now I'm all for passion, but the scenes were way too close together to where it got boring and familiar after a while. While I admire fiery heroines, she gave up her virginity and got over her fiance way too quickly. Overwhelming passion is great, but the girl had no brains and said some corny stuff while they did it. Also, too many god's balls comments. The plot was creative and I like that the guy had tattoos and the bath scene was sexy. If the sex was more spaced out and the heroine had held out a little longer to build up the tension and make me respect her then I might have enjoyed it.
