I liked this book! I have not read any of her other novels, but I had heard so much about her writing that I had to read. I was not dis-appointed, although in parts of it it did seem to drag on a bit. I did learn about another countries customs, although when reading a book not so sure that's what I want to get out of it. The sex scenes were well written, although he seemed to know exactly how to please a woman and yet he was the virgin, seemed a bit unbelievable. Overall a good book. 3 stars out of 5 Reviewed by Sharon Owner: www.RomanceWritersReviews.com

Wonder about her reaction when he brings in wife 2, 3 and 4! Just pleased to obey the Lord and master? What about when her 9 year old daughter is married off to a devout men of 30? This kind of "masterful" men are anything but romantic! .... Is being stoned romantic too?

Chris - Guilty pleasure alert! This doesn’t have politically incorrect in the title for no reason. If you are offended by alpha males who manage their women, don’t read it. If you do feel that way and feel compelled to slam the book, don’t. This book is written for a specific audience, and if you aren’t part of it, avoid it. This quick read touches on a lot of modern women’s’ darkest fantasies, and that’s what makes it so good. Women are told that to feel the things that Shannon does is wrong. That Hani is a monster for acting the way he does. But please note there is no violence in the form of spouse abuse. This is about dominance and submission, taking and giving, and finding an even ground where both parties find what they need and crave. I for one loved this quick read, and will be sure to read it again.

This was by no means one of her best, but like everyone else, I LOVE Jaid Black and read all her books. I think the only thing I didn't like about this book was the fact that he was a virgin. Not my cup of tea. I also felt that this was not a novella, but more along the lines of a quickie, so a bit disappointed at the price. I am just glad to see she's back and can't wait for Trek series and Viking series books to start appearing.

JAID'S STILL GOT IT!!! I'VE LOVED HER BOOKS FROM THE BEGINNING. SHE'S THE BOMB. HER LOVE SCENES ALWAYS ROCK. THIS STORY REMINDS ME OF THE OLD DAYS OF ROMANTICA. BRAVO JAID..

Was glad that Jaid was finally writing something after so long. Was a little disappointed by it though. She's written better. And I didn't like that he was inexsperienced either. But the 'Jaid Master' is back. And Jaid knows her stuff, and she'll get the ole juices flowing in the synapses and 'wow' her fans with the next one.

Excellent, as always. Yet more so. I loved the story and thought Jaid developed the characters and setting very well, especially in the short length.

I've been buying and reading Jaid's books pretty much since the beginning. And to me, this simply didn't have the wow or the sizzle. Seemed like a toned down Harlequin Presents in some ways. I struggled on whether to give it a 2 or a 3 so I went back to the fact that it was marked as Politically Incorrect. I remember Stalked and even though it was quickie it sizzled and I still reread it now and then (a definite keeper). I doubt I'll go back and reread this.

This was an excellent read. Very hot with a strong storyline. To other commenters who talk about the story being shallow - well, this IS a novella. A writer can't take on stereotypes and get all angsty and deep in such a short length work. This was the right depth for a short-and very hot, engaging-work. Thanks for a super read, Jaid.
