The depth of the main character Daniel, the secondary characters and the descriptions of Paris and the French were brilliant. The story will stay with me for a long time. I was disappointed in this offering by the usually impeccable Llewellyn. The love story is usually the center of the plot, which is not the case in this book. I heartily recommend his other books, especially the Phantom Lover series. I wanted to savor every last word just like a fine wine. AJ Llewellyn is an amazing story teller. I felt every emotion. All of the characters were important. Like the pieces of a puzzle, they made a wonderful picture of the man Daniel turned out. to be.I want to thank AJ.
