I loved the playful dialogue between the characters and the way Ms Lash lets you see into their souls. For a book that made me chuckle at times, then brought a tear to my eye, it satisfied all emotions. I am looking forward to her next book. The premise was unique and interesting and turned into something a little mundane. The author clearly rushes through the end and loses track of who and what her characters are about. Lots of good sex though and so if you are looking for that you won't be disappointed. Cat on 6/19/2010, said: The second book is always the hardest and more so when you are doing a prequel in a lot of ways but Ms. Lash proves once again that she can deliver a great book. The writing was very similar to her first book in that the book flowed smoothly and effortlessly but the language was very unique in that you could tell it was the same universe but totally different people. These characters were not Gage and Reina made over but completely original.... although some characteristics remained the same - strong man, strong woman with a touch of innocence - bad guys.....
