Book 3 in the Cyborg Seduction series.

Being a female mechanic on a space station for eight years has taught Dawn a lot of tough life lessons that have hardened her heart. She’s got a temper and a mouth to match her red hair and has never backed away from a challenge. Then she’s kidnapped and blackmailed into agreeing to be a cyborg’s personal sex slave.

Iron is one big bastard with long, fiery red hair, intense, dark blue eyes and a stubborn streak as thick as his dense muscles. If Iron thinks he can tame her, he’s about to learn that “meek” is not in Dawn’s vocabulary. But with that handsome face, a body to die for, a wickedly talented tongue and those magical hands, the guy just doesn’t fight fair.

Dawn is intent on melting Iron’s icy resolve to never fall in love with a human. He’s winning her heart and she’s determined to win his right back. These two redheads have just met their matches. Let the battle for love begin.

Reader Advisory: The big cyborg using his “research” on his new captive during a smoking-hot bondage scene. Woot!

I liked Dawn and Iron but have to admit I would have liked a more well rounded storyline. As usuaol Ms. Dohner has included hot sex and more hot sex but... there was little interaction with others for most of the book. It was a bit dry as he kept her locked up in a room on the ship. He was upfront about not being able to fully trust her but then you find out he put them into a family pack, in other words marrying her, without so much as letting her know he liked her. It was a bit twisted as he didn't even do the usual which is to say he can't do without the sex. I did like Dawn though. If you want feisty and smart then Dawn is it. I especially enjoyed the times she made him feel like "the slave or property" as she was becoming very sexually demanding.

This book was the first of Laurann's books that I have read. It was wonderful and a definite must read, but Touching Iron is my favorite so far. Can't wait till next in series is written.

WOW!! I have to say I was really looking forward to this book because in "Burning Up Flint" he was such an a**hole! However Ms. Dohner made this anti-hero very likable and you could see why he had issues with intimacy. Possible spoiler--- The fact that Iron was forced to keep his head shaved while in custody made that part of him off limits - it's a human trait - he wanted control of something in his life and his hair was that one thing, besides Dawn which he really couldn't control!! the Cyborg council has basic control of everything else despite the fact that these guys are all Alpha males. This is great for establishing Iron's "humanity" in that Dawn had to earn his trust in regards to not just his body but his hair which to some cultures can be a more intimate thing - in most Arabic cultures only the husband can touch the wife's hair and in some cases see it uncovered. As for the color of the "special" cyborgs it's common to want to pass those traits off to children which would make them a wanted commodity. Well done - now hopefully we can have Ice's and Coal's stories as well.... PLEASE!! Although the other two series she has coming out look great as well!! And don't forget the Zorn series as well!! Update - Ice's story is due out Nov 26, 2010 - I can't wait!! >^..^<

THis character was such a turn off in the first book that I was very hesitant to read this book. I am glad I changed my mind. This was definately worth reading.

Good read, although not my favorite of the series. I found the here to be slightly less likable than Flint and Steele and a number of unanswered questions, among them what is the hang up with the hair. I understand why the heros of the series want human women, but find the way they all magically get out of the breeding pacts and ability have to have sex with other women or share their women a little too easy. Dohner is going to have to change that line of the story to keep the series working. I do hope there are more, I look forward to reading Coal's story if the author continues.
