Frances on 5/13/2010, said: The heroine is eloping with the man she loves to Scotland. Only he ditches her without any money and he steals her mother's necklace. A childhood friend comes to her rescue - a friend who has always loved her. Within hours, she's in bed with him and decides she loves him. It just didn't gel with me that she went so quickly from being in love with one man to being in love with the other. The boyhood friend knew the guy she was eloping with was a rake, but didn't warn him away from her. That did not make sense to me either. I know it's a Quickie, but it needs to hang together a little better and be somewhat believable.
