The only reason I give this four instead of five stars is I felt Dallon wavered a bit too much and Carrie seemed a bit too - what would be the right word - she didn't worry too much but she seemed too unsure in her own appeal - and even that's not quite the right word I'm searching for... she was always too worried about not being "bad" enough for him to want her... but regardless of what expression I'm searching for for Carrie, this was an excellent book and FAR TOO SHORT - like most of the good ones are!! Get this but don't forget her others and for sure don't miss Vinter in Simple Need - so far he's one of my all time favorite Alpha's - and I have hundreds of books both e-book and paper, and have read hundreds more.... I loved this book - she especially got the idea of how far a "good" girl like Carrie can fall with the right man.... but oh what a fall!!
