The story is about a married couple that does a favor for a friend that is down on his luck and recently out of a bad relationship. Unfortunately, having her husband's best friend move in puts a cramp on their love life. I thought Jed was a bit obtuse in the beginning but loved the plan to have an "affair" to add zest to their marriage and meeting one another at hotels etc. The decision to have a menage seemed unnecessary and honestly the flow of the story would not have been affected overly if the author had eliminated that part. The character Tommy was also not fully developed and I wasnt really sure of his purpose or place in the story other than to be the object of the plot device, which was a marriage in trouble.
