I wanted to know more about the backgrounds of the two main characters and what brought them to their current circumstances in the world. Frances on 11/20/2010, said: I really enojoyed this book and the storyline. I loved the protectiveness of Roidan toward the healer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they had sex within minutes of meeting each other and I didn't feel the foundation had been laid for a woman of her time to so eagerly spread her thighs for someone she had just met. I agree, however, with all the other positive comments about this book and this author and would definitely read books by her in the future. Cat on 9/29/2010, said: I found this book very enjoyable and the author was very true to the time - her other books were really well written as well just too short - quickies.... her next larger novel comes out Oct 27, 2010 and I can't wait to read it. This one had not only a good love story for the length of the book but some danger and it was quite funny in spots.
