Southern Texas is in the grips of a heat wave and DaniLee Hunter needs a distraction. The man she wants refuses to acknowlege she’s all grown up, but the sexy ranch hand Waco is more than willing for an erotic roll in the hay.

Everything in South Texas stings, bites,or prickles…including Cord Stiles. As foreman of the Iron H, he has enough to deal with—including his growing attraction for DaniLee. She’s wild and reckless—and impossible to ignore. It’s time she’s roped and branded…and he’s just the man to do it.

The stakes are high in a late-night poke-her game. Cord, Dani and Waco lay their cards on the table. Winner takes all.

The story was very straight forward, however, it was well written with good characters and plenty of steamy sex.

Fell in love with Cord! Understood Dani and Waco wasn't too bad himself. The story and setting were intriging. I love Cowboys and Cowgirls. This is a tightly written story and I would recomend it! Another winner Ky Ann Waters!

I really enjoyed Ms. Waters' western tale. I thought the conflict between Dani and Cord made a dynamic plot. Roped and Branded not only has the heat of passion but the heat of trouble brewing thanks to a drought, which adds more to this steamy number. This story will keep you entertained and leave you feeling some heat of your own. Danielle Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance & More

Oh Ms Waters, you dirty, dirty girl :) Yet again Ms Waters has delivered another tale filled with sexy men, smokin' sex and a story that keeps the reader pulled in. Her ability to pen a tale with characters who are strong and independent but in need of something more, is wonderful. This is just one more example of why this author has landed on my MUST READ list and will surely stay there. Sites, sounds and tactile sensations that will leave you feeling like you were right there in the story. Ms Waters delivers with a presence. SNAPS on another job well done. www.seriouslyreviewed.blogspot.com

I love this story. DaniLee is a strong woman who isn’t afraid of her body’s needs or taking satisfaction when she can. Her only vulnerability is her family and the man who refuses to see her as a woman. As her foreman, Cord is torn between his job and his feelings for Dani. He understands her sexual needs but his protective instincts hold him back. It’s fun to watch her convince him he can have it all.

The idea behind the story is good, but the character development is minimal and the emotional development nonexistent. The character's behaviors are inconsistent throughout, and I didn't feel any more attached to the main love interest than I did to Waco, the drifter. Lastly, the choppy writing style made for a jerky story flow. In short, it has potential, but doesn't live up to it.
