I found it distracted me from an otherwise hot novel.It's still a good read, but I'm not giving top marks because of that issue. I think if the author reflected more passion and love between Garrett and Jayne, I would have liked it more. I just didn't feel the love, but I did feel the pain that Garrett felt and that kind of ruined the story for me.
