Reaper’s Justice is set in the world of the WesternWind series, but can be read as a standalone story.

Kasid Jaborn never thought he would find his soul mate. He had given up hope of ever knowing the gentleness of a woman’s hand upon his body. Locked down behind the steel doors of the Reaper compound, Kasid runs into the one woman destined to be his. In the sweltering heat of the closed building where the Citadel’s air-conditioning has failed and tempers are beginning to flare red-hot, Kasid and his ladylove start their own raging inferno.

As it is a very short story it does not go in to depth; however, if you like Charlotte's other Reaper books you will also love Reaper's Justice.

I don't expect a lot from short stories, there simply isn't enough time to develop the characters and that holds true for this book. I was actually looking forward to Kasid's story and I figured it could be a great tortured tale of how he was force to become a bagair and how his brother was a horrible person. It is a sweet story, but really don't see how it contributes to the series or matters in the long run. It did however introduce me as a first glimps of the Reapers and provided a desire to read more.

Awesome story, appealing characters, very well written. I've never read any of the reaper stories before, but I certainly will be now.

I didn't think much of this, the characters made me cringe, the story was poor, I pretty much skimmed the last part- glad it was a free read so I didn't pay for it!

Charlotte does it again. Great addition to the series WesternWind. This is the last one to find his mate before the grand finale or final battle is waged. It may be hard for someone to follow this short story if you did not follow the series.
