I want to give it three, but I really didn't enjoy this. It was a waste of my time. I've read one other book of hers, and I found it the same way. I think this author has huge potential. But the quality of the writing isn't what I'd hoped for from Ellora's Cave. She does a lot of telling and uses a lot of passive voice that leave her characters feeling like cardboard and the scenes lacking vividness. She spent the beginning of the story showing things I found really boring, that I thought she could have skimmed over in favor of focusing on the main characters (the brothers). Like the opening sex with her ex. Or her routine the morning after night of clubbing (the shower comes to mind). I loved the story buildup instead of just jumping in with both feet in the beginning. I will definitely be buying Ms. Adkins' stories in the future...I just wish this one was in print so I can take it with me wherever I go. I was wondering how this was going to work with 3 guys and 1 woman but work it did! I could not put this book down and read it all in one sitting. Afterwards, I had to attack my husband...twice. Keep up the fantastic work, Ms. Adkins! Out of all of the Ellora's Cave's books I have read and re-read, (and I have read quite a few) this is my favorite, hands down! Not only does he show up, he brings his two brothers who co-own the shop with him. Reagan is about to experience the ultimate in personal service. This was a fun fantasy. We’d all be kicking out the boring boyfriends if we could be guaranteed this kind of recovery. A total suspension of reality that did what it was supposed to do. Entertain.
