Demon hunter Detective Michelle never thought she’d be working with a demon during her undercover assignment at a Canadian ski resort. Blake Ashen might only be half-demon, but he exudes full-demon charisma and lust.

Michelle needs to discover why so many women are dying and going missing at the resort. She has no choice but to form an alliance with Blake, who is having a seriously strong effect on her libido. Forced to pretend they’re lovers, the two get up close and personal and Michelle begins yearning for a taste of him. In no time at all, the woman in her overrules the cop and she finds herself knocking on a demon’s bedroom door, where she discovers the man is far more potent than the demon.

When Michelle gets drugged and dragged to an underground cavern where unsuspecting women become victims, will her trust in Blake prove her damnation or salvation?

Original review by Karen is posted at www.romancing-the-book.com. Knocking on Demon’s Door has a lot going for it – a good story line, a super sexy hero and heroine, and strong sexual tension leading up to some really hot lovemaking. The slow build-up to when the hero and heroine jump each other, oops, jump into bed, was well written. I think I would have enjoyed it even more if the story was longer, more developed; it felt like the story was just getting to the critical part – and it was over. And, while a good story, I do think it is overpriced for a short story of about 70 pages. Overall, I liked Knocking on Demon’s Door and would recommend it as a quick, sexy read.

When you don’t have a choice is it really a choice? That’s what Michelle must determine in her efforts to find out why women are disappearing from a ski resort. Saddled with a partner who turns out to be more than useless, Michelle finds herself relying on the skills and knowledge of an unexpected collaborator. She’s never before met a demon she could trust, this could be the biggest mistake of her life or her biggest adventure. Filled with suspense, humor, great sex, and sleazy bad guys, this story is a great addition to any reader’s bookshelf.
