Truth & Lies, Book One

Allison Moore does her psychology research from the safety of the internet, where she can study her subjects’ lying ways without the need for pesky human involvement. Online games are the perfect place to look for liars and have fun at the same time.

Seth Brantley is a fellow professor who can make even economics seem sexy. When he and Allison realize they’ve been “researching” in the same game, a face-to-face meeting seems inevitable. After all, they’re practically neighbors—they’ve been working in adjacent buildings for years.

Fresh from a breakup and afraid to take a risk, Allison wants to keep her affair with Seth strictly electronic…but she can’t deny their virtual antics are hot enough to melt their keyboards. Can Seth convince her to give up the safety of cybering and take a chance on passion in the real world?

A Romantica® erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

I enjoyed this one, it was funny without being over the top. Plus I really enjoy "intelligent" romances. Not every hero shoud be a firefighter, etc. Seth was smart and willing to work with the heroine's hang ups. I also liked how he teased Allison about her flamingo pen :) It was just really cute all around.

The relationship between H & h is enjoyable. The problems I had with this book are: I hate books with a 'best friend' character who the h sits around with for several pages talking about the H. Most of the time it is just a way to fill pages and the reader can skip it without missing anything important. This story has 2 best friend characters! It takes up a LOT of pages. 2. The h has an ex boyfriend an thinks about him way too much. It's a book about "what went wrong between me and Jack," instead more time could be spent on H/h interaction. But I thought this hero was really sweat and funny and I liked him a lot.
