J on 12/24/2011, said: I was interested in the storyline of a relatively young widower trying to carry on and raise his son. Well.... it was so very boring. At first he just thinks she is great with his son, then he thinks her body is hot and oh by the way he was a complete doormat for his deceased wife. One minute he delivers a chaste kiss to the nanny and then he's deciding to marry her and fire the housekeeper for spying. My eyes glazed over as page after page of uninspiring text was put before me. Also while the author certainly understands football terms she really doesn't understand the personal dynamics of being a star football player. Judith on 8/8/2011, said: One of those quality reads that isn't just sex scene after sex scene, but a careful story of a man who has lost his spouse and now has the care of his child as well as having to deal with the challenges of a professional sports career. Tina is a quiet and kind person and it is heart warming to see these two get together. There are problems as the course of true love seldom runs smoothly, but it is a story that is so good.
