Judith on 8/8/2011, said: All the Cougar Challenge stories are intense, erotic, and wonderfully told, but I got the feeling in this story that there was a lot going on with these two lovers. Intense loving, almost a sense of wonder at how intense their sexual response was to one another. But there are control issues and some disappointment when the heroine felt that her lover couldn't seem to allow her to order her own life and future. There is a HEA here, but I think the road to true love is a bit more rocky in this story than in some of the others. A really terrific story that goes a bit farther in examining the nature of this relationship. The characters aren't very rounded and at times I felt the story dragged. However, it was sweet and sexy in places. Star on 12/10/2009, said: I did like this story I felt that Dr. John Sung was a passionate person who had difficulty showing emotions as well as Sunset had difficulty showing her emotions. The story can seem cold in parts but they did seem to connect sexually and finally emotionally. Therefore, I felt the love story was gentle but appropriate for the characters. Just didn't have that emotional connection between the characters. And found the characters to be flat and not all that interesting.
