OMG!!! AWESOME BOOK! I was enthralled the whole way through the story...Selig and Caitlin are hot, sexy characters--the plot was well developed..One of the best books I have ever read!!! I will definitely come back to keep check on any new books by this author!!

Luv'd it! Couldn't put it down. I think I was more interested in the actual plot then the hot sexcapades which was off the hook also. Another favorite author.

Loved these characters and the plot. Could understand why Caitlin wanted to protect Selig especially since Nicholas was abusive and had dealings with criminals. Caitlin didn't know how else to keep Selig safe. Selig's anguish was very moving but I am glad he got the girl in the end. Purchased this book because I liked the characters in Desire In the Dark.

Wow! What an amazing ride! This was an absolutely amazing book with exquisite attention to detail. Fantastic plot and incredibly realistic bad guy. Absolutely awesome hero! I loved that this story was more about relationship than race. This story Rocks!

Spoiler alert! One of the main reasons that I loved this book complete with all it's dark twists and turns was the fact that the obsession that the bad guy has for the heroine is more realistic than most of the obsessive stalkers that I've read in some of the other books that have this as a plot twist. When a man - or woman obsesses over their victim they don't change their minds because another girl might get them more money as a singer or something like that... they fixate on that one person and if they can't have them then no one else can.... Ms Simone wrote this plot realistically and with all the faults that we humans have including deciding what's best for loved ones without asking their opinion most times! As well as the anger and need to hurt that loved one because of those decisions - while it sounds all dark and gloomy the love that the two leads realize that they have for each other does make the story steamy and a fast read.... I stayed up all night even though I have a two day volleyball tournament to coach just to finish this before we left Well done!

I did not enjoy it too much. Main characters were weak and easyly controled, almost unlikeables. I wanted more from them. Don't know yet if I will read something from her again.
