I did not see how this is a prequel to Death Row series, I thought it was the Viking Underworld series myself. But still a pretty good short book.

I agree I don't see how this is related to the Death Row series. But I did enjoy the story so much that I read it twice.

Honestly, I do not see this as a prequel to Death Row series. They are two completely different stories except for the fact that in the future, women are scarce. I do agree that this book would have been more exciting and sexually charged if Peggy fought harder and did not give in to Wolf so easily. The story started out strong and interesting but then just got too sappy. It is an enjoyable read but I would have preferred some action. Maybe next time, they can capture someone who understands the language and gives them hell for kidnapping them. That would make for an interesting hell cat type of personality that would be fun to read. This story mentions relatives from 1000 years ago which is more correlated to her book God of Fire, which I really liked. Another viking, time travel back to 850 A.D.

It started off as a great story and would have ended a great story if not for the fact that I think Peggy gave in WAY too easily to Wolf and everything that happened to her. When the first two captors touched her and made her feel things, she felt ashamed and hated them. But Wolf comes along and does the same and because he's hot (here's where I'm rolling my eyes) it's not so bad. After all, who wouldn't fall in love with and get off on a guy that takes you to his disgusting world where they treat women like garbage? Sigh, like I said, it turned me off how fast she gave in to everything, if she had fought a little more, a little longer, voiced her opinions more, it would have been more believable to her falling for him over a period of time.
